Note 1: Blockage of dust removal bag. When the bag becomes clogged, the resistance increases, which can be reflected by an increase in the reading of the differential pressure gauge. Bag clogging is the main cause of bag wear, perforation, and detachment. The causes of dust bag clogging should be checked and repaired according to the table below. Generally, the following measures are taken:

a. Temporarily strengthen dust cleaning to eliminate blockages in the cloth bag,

b. Replace the cloth bags in the department or in their entirety,

c. Adjust the installation and operation prerequisites

Note 2: The aging of the dust removal bag is mainly caused by the following reasons, which need to be investigated, eliminated, and replaced with dust removal filter bags

a. Due to abnormal high temperature, it hardens and shrinks,

b. Due to the reaction with vapors of acids, bases, or organic solvents,

c. Reacts with water

Note 3: The filter cloth should not be hung too loosely or too tightly. If it is too loose, dust can easily accumulate, and if it is too tight, it can easily be pulled apart. When replacing the dust collector bag, first blow it clean with compressed air, and then check for any holes. If there are holes, repair them and leave them for replacement. If the bag is covered by dust, rinse it with water, cool it dry, and leave it for replacement

Therefore, it is necessary to use the dust removal bag correctly to ensure that it is used for a relatively long time and to ensure the normal operation of the bag filter.
